Making soup

Today our whole class made some soup for the whole school.In the soup there was kumara leek chilli parsnip potato carrot and celery.Erery one got a turn at choping and pleing.The reason our class made    

soup is because our class was fundraising to go to the moives because our topic was flight our class

was exited to go to the moives. By George and Matthew.

 

Our flight inquiry.

This term our inquiry is flight. We are learning all about things that fly and how they fly. Last week we learnt how to draw a plane. Don't they look terrific.

Pink Shirt Day

Today our school supported pink shirt day by all wearing as much pink as possible and bringing a donation. Everyone made a big effort and looked great!

On Wednesday Devon's Mum Jenny came in to our room to help us make Christmas cards.  We think they are awesome!

Puppet making!

Today for art we had a lot of fun using up all the scraps of paper. We made all sorts of puppets. They look amazing.

Sound Art

Check out the fantastic art we have been doing for art! We also wrote lipograms. They are sentences that do not use a certain letter. We were not allowed to use the letter e. Here is an example. Tayla is fantastic at singing our school song - by Pipi.
