Science Time

Look at the fun experiment we did today! It was with milk, food colouring and dishwashing liquid.

Apple crumble making

On Thursday we made apple cramble we used 1c flour , oats , 100g butter, cinnamon , nutmeg, 1/2 c 

Sugar. We had 6 buddy's from room 10. We weighed the butter to three  groups of a 100gs of butter 

We rubbed  the butter with the oats and flour and cinnamon also sugar and nutmeg. We used our hands Instead of a beater because it was too hard. It is to sell for Harvest Friday. By Manny and Linkin.

Special Snail Mail

We have been learning to write letters. Some people wrote to Grandparents, some to friends and some to Aunties or Uncles. We are going to send them and cross our fingers that we get some mail back!

Title:  Paper Planes

Movie Star Rating – 4 1/2 stars out of 5

Summary:  It’s about a boy called Dylan who practices a lot to be able to go to Sydney because he flew his paper plane 30 metres.  In Sydney he had to fly the plane all the way across a pool.  Because Dylan did that he got to go to Tokyo.  To get enough money to go to Tokyo Dylan and his Dad had a garage sale.  While the garage sale was happening Dylan’s teacher counted up the money and he only had half of what he needed.  But luckily his Grandpa came with some ladies from the rest home who brought some baking.  They sold all the baking and Dylan raised enough to go to Tokyo.  In Toyko Dylan and the other people who were there had to fly their plane across some lazer things and Dylan got his the furthest and won!

What I liked:  When Grandpa came with the ladies.

What I disliked:  When Jason pushed Dylan down the staircase.

My favourite part:  At the end when his Dad shows up unexpectedly.

Science experiment on air

On Friday the 11th of June  we had a huge surprise Mrs Null said we were doing an experiment on air.For it we needed a bottle,balloon,cold water and hot water then we got started. First we put the balloon  on the  bottle and put it in cold water.We notecied that in cold water the balloon sucks up and in hot water it blows up. Then we tested it  with a small a bottle and it went up faster it was fun!By Amelie and Zeffi

 

Fitness with Couper

Today Couper took fitness. He had written a lesson plan and we all did what he told us. We did running and stretching and had fun!
