Yum! Look what we made today for Easter! We used chocolate to stick the ears, eyes and nose on and icing for the whiskers. We can't wait to taste them!

Measuring Fun!

Today Mrs Null gave us a meter long piece of wool. We used this to find out what we could use on our body as a personal benchmark for a meter.

St. John

Today Kathryn from St John came to rm 3 to teach us first aid. She taught us how to ring the emergency number 111. We need to ring them in an emergency  not just when someone falls over. She showed us how to put on bandages and slings.We learnt how to put our head forward and pinch our nose to stop a bleeding nose. Terrific Turtles

Over the past couple of weeks our class story was Esio Trot by Roald Dahl. It is a really fun story about Alfie  the tortoise. We made these cute turtles today in Art time. 

Doggy Do's and Don'ts with Wayne and Mate from dog control.

Last Thursday Wayne and Mate came to school to share some excellent advice on how to be safe around dogs. We learnt lots of great tips.

We made a thank you poster with our super cool pictures of dogs and some things we learnt about dog safety on it.

Some children used the iPad app Explain Everything to write down things they learnt and draw a picture
