We have been learning how to be safe around trains this week. Our school is by a railway line. Constable Jenny came to talk to us about being safe around train tracks. We went for a walk down to the tracks to practice being safe.

A grap harvester and tractor with gondola.
The grap harvister has just finished a whole row of grapes and is tipping the grapes into the gondola the gondola tips it into the truck this goes on and on.The truck takes the grapes away to the winery and tips the grapes into a big hole in the ground called a hoper.L.d.h.signs for Lorsins dry hills.Lorsins used to have a tow behind grap harvest but now they have a grap harvester that goes over the row.

Buddy boat building
Today for buddy time we create boats. We had to try and make a boat tha floated in the wate troughs.
St. John lesson
Kathryn from St. John is at our school this week. We had a good lesson with her learning how to call emergency services, how to bandage and what to do if we had a bleeding nose.

Shaving foam science
Look at our cool experiment! We made some great observations. Emily said it looked like a cloud with the rain coming out of it!
